The Florida (Uniform) Trust Code Desk Reference (synopsis and discussion)--The title of Florida's trust code is the Florida (Uniform) Trust Code which is effective on July 1, 2007. It is based on the Uniform Trust Code which was completed through the efforts of the National Conference Of Commissioners On Uniform State Laws which compiled the first version in 2000. It was promulgated in 2003 along with its recommended adoption by all of the states. The code includes the published companion commentaries which not only explain each of the UTC's statutory provisions, but provide detailed references to primary and secondary sources and authorities used in the code's final formulation.
