1. How many pages are in the text?--There are 604 pages in the text which includes 3 appendixed sets of materials.

How is the Desk Reference text and appendixed materials to be distributed to the purchaser?--The purchaser will download the full text by PDF transfer through this site--Purchase (Download) The Arizona (Uniform) Trust Code Desk Reference. Also included, for use by the purchaser's own document archives are the complete set of appendixed trust forms and sample husband and wife trust agreement.

3. Is the Reference available in hard copy with a binder, etc.?--The text will not be available to the purchaser in hard copy form at this time.

4. Will this work be periodically updated and made available to current purchasers?--Yes, the editor intends to make periodic updates to keep the work current through Arizona references and relevant non-Arizona sources--namely, citation to case law, etc., of other jurisdictions which have adopted their own Uniform Trust Code version. These updates will be available to download through this site.

5. How did this work come about?--The editor began working on Arizona's (subsequently repealed) trust code when it was promulgated in 2004 and used that manuscript as a template for a significantly enhanced version of the subsequently produced Virginia and Florida uniform trust code versions. From those versions the completed Arizona trust code was produced.

6. Will this work be available for other jurisdictions' Uniform Trust Code versions?--Depending on the success of this work, the editor intends to complete a similar reference work for each jurisdiction that enacts its own version of the uniform trust code. Accordingly, in the future the editor intends to recruit interested co-editors to produce similar works in each of those jurisdictions.

7. Who is the editor?--This work is edited by Matthew L. Howell, who began his career as a trust officer in Michigan and Arizona and has been practicing estate planning and administration law in Mesa, Arizona (greater Phoenix) for over 20 years. Matthew has an A.B. from John Carroll University (1973); a J.D., from Ohio Northern University (1976) and an LL.M., from Wayne State University (1986).

8. Why should I be interested in acquiring this work?--The editor believes that this work will serve as a valuable reference to the increasingly ubiquitous uniform trust code, and to a certain extent, assist in becoming more familiar with the statute itself. It also provides tools to assist the practitioner in becoming familiar with the statue. Finally, as the code matures in a variety of jurisdictions, the developing law therein will be added through editorial reference and analysis, making the work's reference value even more significant.
